Raincheck Policy
How rainchecks work
Plans change, and Florida weather does not always cooperate. A raincheck lets eligible value from a cancelled reservation be held toward a future event with Millers Jump Time instead of being returned as money. This page explains the policy in plain language; the exact amounts for any reservation are set by our reservation policy and your rental agreement.
Start with payment status
Paid in full: no cash refund on cancellation; MJT reviews eligible raincheck value. Not paid in full: the minimum payment stays non-refundable. More than 7 days away, eligible amounts above it may be returned; 7 days or less, only half of those above-minimum amounts may be returned. Full eligible value may instead be held as a raincheck. Exactly 7 days uses the late rule. MJT reviews actual records and other legitimately earned/non-refundable charges; this page does not issue a refund or credit.
Illustration only — not your reservation
For a $1,000 contract with a $250 minimum and $500 paid, assuming no other protected charges or prior credits: more than 7 days out, up to $250 above the minimum may be returned; 7 days or less, up to $125 may be returned. If the same contract has been paid in full, the cash-refund amount is $0 on either side of 7 days; eligible raincheck value requires MJT review. A raincheck expires one year from issue, never guarantees stock or a date, and the same money cannot also be refunded.
When a raincheck may apply
A raincheck may be offered when a reservation is cancelled and there is eligible value remaining under our cancellation policy. Depending on timing, eligible value may be refunded where the policy permits, or placed into a raincheck toward a future qualifying event.
Reservations paid in full
Once a reservation has been paid in full, no cash refund is issued on cancellation. Eligible value from a paid-in-full reservation is handled through a raincheck instead.
Weather-related event changes
Our crew decides whether weather or site conditions allow safe delivery, setup and use — for example high winds, lightning, heavy rain or severe-weather alerts. When weather affects an event, contact us and we will review the available raincheck and refund options for your reservation. A weather change does not by itself create a refund or credit; each situation is reviewed under the policy.
The minimum payment
The minimum payment that reserves your equipment and date is non-refundable and is not returned as money if a reservation is cancelled.
How raincheck value is handled
If not paid in full, more than 7 days before the event: eligible amounts above the non-refundable minimum may be refunded where the policy permits, or placed into a raincheck. Paid-in-full cancellations have no cash refund. If not paid in full, 7 days or less before the event: only half of eligible above-minimum amounts may be returned as money, or full eligible value may be held as a raincheck. Paid-in-full cancellations have no cash refund. The same amount can never be both refunded and placed into a raincheck.
One-year validity
A raincheck is valid for one year from the date it is issued. It must be used within that one-year period unless we agree otherwise in writing. A raincheck is not cash and has no cash redemption value.
Rescheduling with a raincheck
Contact us with your new event date and the rentals you would like. Your raincheck value is applied toward the new reservation. Pricing for the new reservation is based on the pricing that applies at that time unless we expressly agree otherwise.
Availability when choosing a new date
A raincheck does not reserve a specific date or specific equipment. Book your new date as early as you can — popular weekends and holidays fill up.
Cancellation, refund and raincheck — what's the difference?
Cancellation ends a reservation. A refund returns eligible money you paid above the minimum payment, when the policy allows it. A raincheck holds eligible value toward a future event instead of returning it as money. Removing or reducing items on a reservation that is still going ahead is handled separately under your rental agreement.

How long is a raincheck valid?
One year from the date the raincheck is issued.
Is a raincheck the same as a refund?
No. A raincheck is held toward a future event and has no cash redemption value. A refund returns eligible money when the policy allows it.
Can I get cash for my raincheck?
No. A raincheck is not cash and cannot be exchanged for money.
Does a raincheck guarantee my new date?
No. A raincheck does not guarantee availability of any specific equipment or date, so book your new date as early as possible.
Will my new reservation use my original prices?
The new reservation uses the pricing that applies at that time unless we expressly agree otherwise.

What if my reservation is already paid in full?

Who decides if weather is unsafe?
Our crew decides whether conditions allow safe delivery, setup and continued use. If we ask for equipment to be shut down for safety, please follow those instructions right away.
If it rains during my event, do I get a raincheck automatically?
No. Once equipment has been delivered and set up, weather during the event does not automatically create a refund, credit or raincheck. Contact us and we will review your situation.
Can the same money be refunded and rainchecked?
No. The same amount can never be both refunded and placed into a raincheck.
How do I use my raincheck?
Contact us with your new date and the rentals you want, and we will apply your raincheck to the new reservation.
